David Davis Obituary

Mr. David Davis, age 68 of Antioch, passed away on Sunday, February 25th at Skyline Alive Hospice in Madison, Tennessee of natural causes.

 

He was born February 27, 1949 in Hawkins County, Tennessee the son of the late Calvin Davis, Jr. and Loretta Capps Davis.

 

He was a member of Haywood Hills Baptist Church where he served on several committees.  He retired from the State of Tennessee as a Civil Engineer.  He loved to fish, do carpentry work and most of all he loved his family.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as three sisters Suzanne Lawson, Roslyn Rymer and Karen Collins.  He is survived by his wife Roena Davis of Antioch; two sons Derek and Adrian Davis both of Antioch; one daughter Cortney Davis Edgar (James) of Antioch and one brother Gary Davis of New Smyrna Beach, FL.

 

Visitation with the Davis family will be on Tuesday from 5-7 at the Haywood Hills Baptist Church, 255 Haywood Lane, Nashville, Tennessee.  Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Wednesday at 11 at the Haywood Hills Baptist Church with Rev. Barry Ellis officiating.  Entombment will follow at the Woodlawn Cross Mausoleum in Nashville.

 

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Haywood Hills Baptist Church Children & Youth Summer Camp Fund.
