Mr. James “Jimmy” Allen Coleman, Jr., age 66 of Olmstead, passed away on Saturday, July 8th at the Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, Kentucky of natural causes.
He was born November 26, 1950 in Logan County, Kentucky the son of James Allen, Sr. and Betty Ham. He loved his family, farming and collecting antiques. He graduated from Austin Peay State University with a B.S. in Agriculture.
He was preceded in death by his father as well as one grandson John Bryant Reading. He is survived by his wife Judy Gardner Coleman of Olmstead; one son Joe Coleman of Olmstead; three daughters Laura James of Dawson Springs, Mary Reading of Olmstead and Jenny Wells of Russellville; his mother Betty Coleman of Olmstead; one brother Kenny Coleman of Olmstead and nine grandchildren.
Visitation with the Coleman family will be on Monday, July 10th from 5:00 until 8:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Tuesday, July 11th at 11:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Shane Hessey officiating. Interment will follow at the Belmont Cemetery in Allensville.
