James "Ricky" Lancaster Obituary

Mr. James “Ricky” Lancaster, age 59 of Elkton, passed away on Friday, March 16^th at Baptist Health in Madisonville of natural causes.

He was born September 11, 1958 in Christian County, Kentucky the son of the late Forrest and Gertrude (Stokes) Lancaster. He loved his grandchildren, UK Basketball and deer hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as one son Billy Andrew Lancaster; four brothers David Gene, Jimmie Edward, Jerry Wayne and Donald Ray Lancaster and one sister Shirley Ann Powell.

He is survived by his wife Tammy Lancaster of Elkton; one son Ricky “Bubba” Lancaster of Normal, Illinois; one daughter Lisa Lancaster of Elkton; one brother Earl Lancaster of Elkton; two sisters Nancy Belle Lancaster of Elkton and Linda Faye Lancaster of Hopkinsville and four grandchildren.

Visitation with the Lancaster family will be on Wednesday from 12:00 until 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at Gray Cemetery in Hopkinsville following the visitation with Rev. Mitch Hedge officiating.
