John Hyde, Sr. Obituary
Mr. John L. Hyde, Sr., age 74 of Elkton, passed away on Saturday, February 17th at the Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville of natural causes.
He was born March 5, 1943 in Doddridge County, West Virginia the son of the late Enoch and Doris (Downs) Hyde.
He was Baptist by faith. He enjoyed landscaping, gardening, woodworking, guns, loved his family and Green Bay Packers.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Deborah Hyde of Elkton; two sons John L. Hyde, Jr. of Wyoming, Illinois and David L. Hyde of Ludowici, Georgia; three daughters Angela Robin Hyde Houghton of Toulon, Illinois, Denise LeAnne Hyde and Deborah Harwood Drake both of Elkton; one brother William Hyde of West Virginia; one sister Delores Gaskins of West Virginia; twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation with the Hyde family will be on Friday from 5:00 until Memorial Service time at 7:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home with Shane Hessey officiating.
