Mrs. Judy Gayle Tilghman, age 68 of Guthrie, passed away on Monday, October 16th at her home of natural causes.
She was born September 16, 1949 in Russellville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Charles and Hattie Lucille (Moore) Atchley. She was a member of Tiny Town Baptist Church, WMU and Guthrie Main Street. She served as the treasurer of Tiny Town Baptist Church, was owner of Home Grown Bargains Consignment in Hopkinsville and volunteered in fundraising for the National MS Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents as well as one sister Patricia Kay “Cricket” Atchley. She is survived by her husband Terry A. Tilghman of Guthrie; two daughters Sandra Gayle Mohon and Terri Renee’ Tilghman-Douglas (Allen) all of Guthrie; one brother Charles Wayne Atchley of Orlinda, Tennessee; one sister Linda Lucille Priddy of Woodlawn, Tennessee and two grandchildren Rachel Mohon and John Thomas Ford.
Visitation with the Tilghman family will be on Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 at the Cook-Webb Funeral Home. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Thursday at 2:00 in the Chapel of the Cook-Webb Funeral Home with Rev. Buck Tidwell and Chris Gorrell doing prayers and Terri Renee’ Tilghman-Douglas doing eulogy. Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery in Guthrie.
