Mary G. Harris

Mrs. Mary Harris, age 68 of Elkton, passed away on Monday afternoon, January 30, 2017 at the St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee of natural causes.

She was born July 20, 1948 in Guthrie, Kentucky the daughter of the late Robert Ray and Minnie Gertrude Walling Rust.  She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Elkton and of the Eastern Star.  She liked to read books and do crossword puzzles.  She loved her family, friends, church and life itself.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as two brothers Clifford and Connell Rust.  She is survived by her husband Wayne Harris of Elkton and several nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.

Visitation with the Harris family will be on Thursday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home.  Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Friday morning at 11:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Davenport officiating.  Interment will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville.
