Maxine Jones Duke Obituary
Maxine Grace Jones Duke, age 89 of Hopkinsville, passed away on Thursday, April 12th at the Bradford Heights Nursing and Rehab in Hopkinsville of natural causes.
She was born July 9, 1928 in Christian County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Auttie Tony and Nola Wagoner Grace.
She was a member of Johnson Chapel UMC, retired from Flynn Enterprises after 40 years and loved her family, gardening and making Rum Cakes.
She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her first husband J.L. Jones (1978); one brother Arvil “Tank” Grace and one sister Coleen Lile. She is survived by two sons Howard and Randel Jones both of Hopkinsville; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
There will be a Graveside Service on Tuesday, April 17th at 2:00 at the Grace Family Cemetery in Hopkinsville with Mike Ladd officiating.
