Nelson Raymond Cole

Mr. Nelson Raymond Cole, age 83 of the Pea Ridge Community, passed away on Sunday, September 24^th at the Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville of natural causes.

He was born April 24, 1934 in Todd County, Kentucky the son of Clay and Ardie Harrison Cole.  He was a member of the Sharon Grove Baptist Church.  He served in the United States Army where he was a veteran.  He was the owner of Nelson Cole’s Used Cars and raised cattle.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his wife June Cole; four brothers Jim Henry, Paul, Robert and George Cole and one sister Bessie Arvin.  He is survived by two sons Randy and Andy Cole both of Russellville; one daughter Lee Ann Vaughn of Russellville; two foster sons Terry Hunter and Donald Brady both of Russellville; one brother Ellis Cole of Evansville, Indiana; six grandchildren and three step grandchildren.

Visitation with the Cole family will be on Thursday from 9:00 until funeral service time at 11:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Blick officiating.  Interment will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsvillle.
