Terry D. Gorrell

Mr. Terry D. Gorrell, age 76 of Hopkinsville and formerly of Todd County, passed away on Thursday, December 21^st at the Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville of natural causes.

He was born December 7, 1941 in Todd County, Kentucky the son of the late Silas Walter and Katheline (Dew) Gorrell.

He was a member of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, Moose Lodge, Elks Lodge and was a Veteran of the United States Air Force where he served in Vietnam.  He loved his family, mechanic work and Nascar.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as three brothers Duane, Stanley and Timmy Dale Gorrell and one sister Elaine Traverse.  He is survived by two sons Tony Gorrell of Elkton and Travis Gorrell of Adairville; two daughters Tonya Gregory of Lewisburg and Casey Holt of Indiana; two brothers Billy Joe Gorrell of Grand Island, New York and Howard Gorrell of Elkton; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Visitation with the Gorrell family will be on Thursday from 5:00 until 8:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home.  Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Friday at 11:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Hayes officiating.  Interment will follow at the Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery.
