The Cook-Webb Funeral home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mr. Bruce Wetton.
Mr. Bruce Wetton, age 85, of Guthrie, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, February 10th at the Creekwood Place Nursing and Rehabilitation in Russellville, Kentucky.
Mr. Wetton was born December 20, 1938, in Stewart County, Tennessee son of the late John and Idella Griffin Wetton.
He was a Veteran of the United States Army and member of the Guthrie Methodist Church. He loved his family, friends, fishing, camping and woodworking.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his first wife, Peggy Marlin Wetton as well as his second wife, Carol Tome Wetton; three brothers, Doug Wetton, Harold Wetton and Carl Thomas Wetton as well as four sisters, Alice Stamper, Opal Anthony, Margaret Ann Henderson and Dorothy Allen.
The Wetton family will be receiving friends on Friday, February 16th from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 at the Cook-Webb Funeral Home with Brother Mark Carrington officiating. Interment to follow at the Highland Cemtery.
