William "Willie" Darden

The Cook-Webb Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mr. William "Willie" Darden. 

Mr. William "Willie" Darden, age 88, of Guthrie, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, March 7th at Hearthstone Place Nursing Home in Elkton, Kentucky.  

"Willie" was born December 8, 1935, in Allensville, Kentucky son of the late Dallas and Ima Eudene Wilkins Darden. 

He was retired from Koppers and a member of the Tiny Town Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, gardening and loved his dog "Snoopy".  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Darden. He is survived by one brother, Larry Darden of Brownsville, Kentucky.  

Visitation with the Darden family will be held on Saturday, March 9th from 5:00 until 7:00 at the Cook-Webb Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 until funeral service time at 3:00 at the Tiny Town Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Dukes officiating. Interment to follow at the Highland Cemetery.
