Mrs. Betty Lou Johnson, age 87 of Fairview, passed away on Thursday, May 23rd at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville of natural causes.
She was born September 22, 1931 in Pembroke, Kentucky the daughter of the late William Simpson and Nannie Dulin Emberton.
She was a member of the Stokes Chapel Church and retired from Flynn Enterprises. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking, canning and shopping.
She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Charles Johnson; three brothers William, Stanley and Luther Emberton; a sister Helen McLaughlin and a granddaughter Kimberly Johnson. She is survived by two sons Bill and Richard Johnson both of Fairview; two daughters Peggy Henault of Fairview and Susan Johnson of Elkton; nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Visitation with the Johnson family will be on Saturday from 5:00 until 8:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Sunday at 2:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Chapman and Rev. Eddie Cain officiating. Interment will follow at the Stokes Chapel Cemetery in Elkton.
