Mrs. Bonnie S. King, age 82 of Elkton, passed away on Sunday, February 5th at the Spring Meadows Healthcare Center in Clarksville, Tennessee of natural causes.
She was born November 15, 1935 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Herman and Beulah (Carver) Strader. She was a member of the Stokes Chapel Church in Elkton. She loved her family, Elvis Presley and enjoyed traveling.
She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Larnce King (2017). She is survived by one son Duane King of Sharon Grove; three daughters Kathy Smart (David) of Elkton, Karen Latham of Chicago, Illinois and Gail McEnearney (Ted) of Lockport, Illinois; two brothers Henry Strader of Elkton and Delbert Strader of the Stringtown Community; one sister Rita Teague of Elkton; seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation with the King family will be on Friday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. Mitch Hedge and Rev. Gary Chapman officiating. Interment will follow at the Stokes Chapel Church Cemetery.
