Donna Ann McCoy

Mrs. Donna Ann McCoy, 85 of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, August 15^th at the Life Care Center in Centerville, Tennessee of natural causes.

She was born March 20, 1933 in Canton, Illinois the daughter of the late Lester “Peachie” and Marge Meacham Bennie.

She was a member of Christ Church in Nashville and attended Crossroads Cowboy Church in Bon Aqua, Tennessee.  She loved her family, and enjoyed studying the Bible, and going to the beach.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as one daughter Margaret “Peggy” McCoy, and three brothers Jim, Bob and Jack Bennie.  She is survived by her husband of 66 years Herb McCoy Sr. of Nashville, Tennessee; one son Herb McCoy Jr. of Clarksville, Tennessee; two daughters Kathy Booker (Bill) of Dickson, Tennessee and Diana McCoy of Nashville, Tennessee; three grandchildren Tony, Jessica, and Shanna; seven great grandchildren Jonathan, Mycah, Jasmine, T.J., Zeke, Imani, and Alora and one great great grandchild Jaxon.

Visitation with the McCoy family will be on Monday from 5:00 until funeral service time at 7:00 at the Christ Church, 15354 Old Hickory Blvd., Nashville, Tennessee with Shane Hessey officiating.  Graveside service will be on Tuesday at 11:00 at the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Pegram, Tennessee.
