Mary Lou Meadows, age 69 of Hopkinsville and formerly of Todd County, passed away on Wednesday, August 7th at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.
She was born April 9, 1950 in Louisville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Columbus M. McCracken and Elizabeth Kemper McCracken.
She was a member of the Pentecostal Arm of the Lord Church in Fairview, Kentucky. She loved spreading the love of God, her family and grandchildren, cooking and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband David Meadows; a granddaughter Fantasia Laurent and several great grandchildren. She is survived by her son Ronald Ray Mason Jr. (Rhonda) of Gulf Port, Mississippi; three daughters Stacy Bush (Roy) of Hopkinsville, Tracy Lozano (Gregorio) of Adairville and Sarah Meadows of Clarksville, Tennessee; four brothers Columbus McCracken Jr. of Malabar, Florida, Artie and Billy McCracken both of Louisville and Robert McCracken of Indiana; two sisters Carol Hagan of Hopkinsville and Pat Busam of Louisville; fifteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Visitation with the Meadows family will be on Sunday from 12:00 until funeral service time at 2:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Cain officiating. Interment will follow at the Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton.
