Mr. Paul Simms, age 67 of Trenton, passed away on Saturday, November 16th at his home of natural causes.
He was born June 20, 1952 in Wilson County, Tennessee the son of the late Paul Baker Simms and Irene Bucy Simms.
He was a member of the Lebanon Pike Baptist Church. He was a former brick mason and loved fishing, landscaping and playing with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as three brothers Billy, Danny and Danny Ray Simms and three sisters Dianne Simms, Marvine Simms and Debbie Wright. He is survived by his wife Faye Simpson Simms of Trenton; one daughter Anita Marie Basham (Gary) of Trenton; two brothers David Simms of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Doug Simms of Smyrna, Tennessee; four sisters Donna Underwood (Ricky) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Betty Carol Lee (Mickey) of Hendersonville, Tennessee, Joyce Bishop of Lyles, Tennessee and Polly Simms of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and two grandchildren.
The family has chosen to do a cremation. There will be a visitation for the family from 1:00 until the Memorial Service time at 2:00 on Monday, November 18th in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Shane Hessey officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date.
