Robert Lee Bell

Mr. Robert Lee Bell, age 86 of Allensville, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at his home of natural causes.

He was born on June 19, 1932 in Allensville, Kentucky the son of the late George and Ella Kimbrough Bell.

Service to the Lord was a part of his daily life as he was a faithful servant and deacon at Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, where he often and passionately played harmonica and lead worship. He loved his family, church family, singing in the choir and enjoyed gardening.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as six brothers James, Luther, Sam, Calvin, Oliver and Jessie and one sister George Ella Bell Glass. Fondly known as “Uncle Johnny” to most he leaves his sister Jane Ann Knox of Corona, California; stepbrother Roy Sebree of Toledo, Ohio and a multitude of nieces, nephews and friends to mourn his passing.

There will be a Memorial Service on August 4th at 2:30 p.m. following Sunday services at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 60 Mount Pleasant Lane, Allensville, Kentucky with Rev. Frank Johnson officiating.
