Sherwood Dukes

Mr. Sherwood Dukes, age 63 of Elkton, passed away on Saturday, October 5^th at his home of natural causes.

He was born June 12, 1956 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky the son of the late Woodrow and Eathel Sigers Dukes.

Sherwood was Baptist by faith. He loved his family, farming and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as one brother Waymon Dukes and four sisters Brenda Estep, Imogene Elmore, Rosie Laster and Anita Martin.  He is survived by two sons Christopher and Jonathan Dukes both of Elkton; one daughter Danielle Dukes of Hopkinsville; three sisters Loretta Rager and Margie Evans both of Elkton and Wanda Harris of Sharon Grove; four grandchildren Joshua, Brayleigh, Aliannah and Maddox.

Visitation with the Dukes family will be on Tuesday from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Shane Hessey officiating.  Interment will follow at the Johnston Cemetery in Kirkmansville.
