Mr. Thomas “Tom” Young Williams Jr., age 84 of Elkton, passed away on Wednesday, October 24^th at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.

He was born July 20, 1934 in Todd County, Kentucky the son of the late Thomas Y. Williams Sr. and Pauline Phillips Williams.

He was a member of Providence United Methodist Church. He loved his family, fishing and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Irene Delores Williams of Elkton; one daughter Patricia Hurt (Dennis) of Elkton; one sister Polly Hoffman (Jim) of Ohio; two grandchildren Deni Shackelford and Patrick Hurt both of Elkton; four great grandchildren Sidney and Kaleb Shackelford, Dylan and Ava Hurt all of Elkton and one nephew Jim Hoffman of Ohio.

Visitation with the Williams family will be on Friday from 5:00 until service time at 7:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted on Friday at 7:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. Freddie Harrison and Shane Hessey officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the charity of your choice.
