Anna Lois Sebree, age 82 of Elkton, passed away on Monday, August 24th at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville of natural causes.
She was born August 23, 1938 in Elkton, Kentucky the daughter of the late Claude and Johnnie Foster Sebree.
At an early age Anna accepted Christ as her Savior at Mt. Zion CME Church in Elkton. She sang in the choir and participated in a lot of organizations at Mt. Zion CME Church. She supported Circle 5 organization.
She worked at Libby’s Beef for several years and ended her work career with Flynn Enterprise both of which was in Elkton.
Anna loved playing sports and watching. Her favorite 2 teams were the Spurs and Louisville Cardinals. She was a great supporter to anyone and the biggest cheerleader. She loved to cook and enjoyed going to family celebrations.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Ricky Donell Brooks; three sisters Martha Washington (Neil), Claudia Bell (Calvin) and Magaline Osborne (Frazier) and one brother Jessie Sebree (Flora). She is survived by six daughters Vaginus “Jean” Johnson of Indianapolis, Indiana, Kim Gardner (Kenneth) of Elkton, Machell Dowlen (Ronnie) of Trenton, Stephanie “Nese” Sebree of Elkton, Lavanda “Franchell” Fields (Michael) of Queens, New York and Felicia “Fefe” Bell (Dorian) of North Carolina; two sisters Georgia Beeler (Eddie) of Indianapolis, Indiana and Barbara Gains (Cleveland) of Hopkinsville; sixteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Also surviving are a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. Tammy Acres officiating. Interment will follow at the Elkton-Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton.
Due to the Coronavirus (Covid19) there will be limited capacity. It is required that if you attend the visitation or service that you wear a mask and refrain from shaking hands and hugging as well as social distancing and keeping six feet apart.
