Obituary
The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mrs. Ardell Virginia Phipps.
Ardell Virginia Phipps, age 92 of Kirkmansville, passed away on Monday, January 9th at Hearthstone Place Nursing Home in Elkton of natural causes.
She was born January 16, 1930 in Todd County, Kentucky daughter of the late Warren and Letha Elizabeth Williams Powell.
She attended the Emberry Church. She loved her family, flowers and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Phipps; one son, Darrel Lynn Jones and one daughter, Brenda Sue Jones. She is survived by three sons, John Ray Jones of Elkton, Terry Wayne Jones of Elkton and Ronald Warren Jones of Greenville, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held with Rev. Larry Chapman officiating.
