The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mrs. Betty Tatum.
Mrs. Betty Tatum, age 73 of the Allegre Community, passed away on Monday, April 17th at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green of natural causes.
She was born May 15, 1949, in Allegre, Kentucky daughter of the late Owen and Essie Duke Martin.
She was a member of the Bellview Baptist Church and a retired beautician. She loved her family, cooking and gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Melvin Tatum in 2015. She is survived by two sons, Allen Tatum (Chris) of Elkton and Banyon Tatum (Shelia) of Allegre; one brother, Billy Martin of Claymour; two sisters, Linda Tucker of Kirkmansville and Mary Ann Craig of Allegre; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visitation with the Tatum family will be held on Wednesday, April 19th from 5:00 until 8:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Thursday, April 20th at 11:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Reverend Fred Harrison and Reverend Eddie Mitchell officiating. Interment to follow at the Ebenezer Church Cemetery in Hopkinsville.
