The Cook-Webb Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mr. Robert "Bob" Weakley.
Mr. Bob Weakley, age 94 of Guthrie, passed away on Friday, July 21st at the Spring Meadows Health Care Center in Clarksville, Tennessee.
He was born November 25, 1928, in Southside, Tennessee the son of the late Bailey and Annie Martin Weakley. He is the last survivor of seven children.
He served in the United States Army from October of 1950 to October of 1952. After his discharge he worked for B.F. Goodrich for over 20 years. He was a member of the Guthrie Methodist Church. He loved his family, gardening, fishing and enjoyed morning coffee with his special friends at a local cafe.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dorothy Bellar Weakley of Guthrie; two sons, Marty Weakley (Tonya) and Mark Weakley (Jane); one daughter, Melessa Rye (Len) all of Clarksville, Tennessee; nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild expected early next year.
Visitation with the Weakley family will be held on Tuesday, July 25th from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 in the chapel of the Cook-Webb Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Carrigan officiating. Interment to follow at the Highland Cemetery.
