Byron Whitehurst

The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mr. Byron Whitehurst.

Mr. Byron Whitehurst, age 74 of Lebanon, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, December 24th at Carrick Glen Senior Assisted Living in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.

Byron was born September 1, 1950, in Nashville, Tennessee son of the late Earl Thomas Whitehurst and Marie Knott Whitehurst.

He was a member of Faith Independent Methodist Church and a sales rep for over 40 years with Professional Adjustment Services. He loved his family and friends, and he enjoyed golfing, singing, watching football and basketball.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Whitehurst; a son, Troy Myers and a brother, Jerry Whitehurst. He is survived by his daughter, Kerri Walden of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; two sisters, Brenda Gregory (Charlie) of Chicago, Illinois and Connie Baker (Richard) of Franklin, Tennessee and two grandchildren, Parker and Karli Walden both of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.

Visitation with the Whitehurst family will be on Saturday, January 4th from 11:00 until Memorial Service time at 1:00 at the Faith Independent Methodist Church, 419 Ezell Pike, Nashville, Tennessee 37210.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Mt. Juliet Animal Shelter, 115 Industrial Drive, Mt. Juliet, Tennessee 37122.
