The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mr. Charles Baker.
Mr. Charles Thomas Baker, age 87 of Elkton, Kentucky, passed away on Friday evening, July 18, 2025, at his home.
Mr. Baker was born January 23, 1938 in Golden Pond, Kentucky son of the late Thomas and Mary McQuithey Baker.
He was a member of Bellview Baptist Church, a veteran of the United States Army, retired from the Todd County Road Department and was a farmer. He enjoyed playing cards, fishing and gardening.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Baker and Earline Gray and one grandchild, Angela Powell. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mrs. Lucille Baker of Elkton; one son, Ronnie Baker and wife, Rhonda of Allegre; one daughter, Debra C. Powell and husband, Tony of Allegre; three sisters, Alice Russell of Hopkinsville, Elvira Baker and Alma Earls both of Elkton. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Charlie Powell, Brad Baker, Andrea Baker Hardison and Christian Powell as well as two great grandchildren, Raylan Carter and Knox Johns.
Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd from 10:00 until 2:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Reverend Gary Chapman, Reverend Buddy Weatherford and Reverend Fred Harrison officiating. Interment to follow at the Stokes Chapel Cemetery.
