Obituary

The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mrs. Christine "Chris" Bivens Kiser.

 

Christine "Chris" Bivens Kiser, age 82 of Elkton, passed away on Saturday, February 18th at the Bradford Heights Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes. 

 

She was born July 12, 1940 in Todd County, Kentucky daughter of the late JD Bivens and Daisy Watkins. 

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Kristy Hurt and one brother, Willous Dean Bivens.  She is survived by her husband, Steve Kiser of Elkton; one son, Tony Hurt (Susan) of Cadiz, Kentucky; three daughters, Donna Hurt of Nashville, Tennessee, Karen Hurt (Watson) of Elkton and Amanda Cherry (Jim) of Clarksville, Tennessee; two sisters, Carolyn Bivens and Nancy Bivens Waggoner both of Hopkinsville and six grandchildren, Kevin, Jessica, Jake, Alex, Jack and Penelope.

 

A private graveside service will be held for the family.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory and mailed to the Trenton Assembly of God Church, 2239 Clarksville Road, Trenton, Kentucky 42286.
