The Cook-Webb Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Christopher Wyatt Gowan.

Christopher Wyatt Gowan, age 27 of Indian Mound, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, May 21st at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, Tennessee of natural causes.

He was born September 9, 1995 in Madisonville, Kentucky the son of Daniel and Malinda Francies Bershing.

He was Baptist by faith. He loved his family, fishing and the Tennessee Titans.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Scott and Kendalle Gowan and paternal grandmother, Shirley Gowan. He is survived by his wife, Britney Gowan of Indian Mound, Tennessee; his parents, Daniel and Malinda Bershing of Indian Mound, Tennessee; two sons, Aiden and Jensen Gowan both of Indian Mound, Tennessee; two daughters, Eralynn and Kielynn Gowan both of Indian Mounds, Tennessee; three brothers, Josh Bershing of Louisville, Kentucky, Caleb Robertson of Woodlawn, Tennessee and Braiden Gowan of Clarksville, Tennessee; four sisters, Chelsie Bershing, Shelby Bershing, Madison Bershing and Brooke Bershing all of Indian Mound, Tennessee; paternal grandparents, Tony Gowan of Ocala, Florida, Jon Bershing of Clarksville, Tennessee and Barbara Hamman of Nashville, Tennessee and maternal grandparents, Michael Francies (June) of Kelly, Kentucky and Joyce West (Dale) of Guthrie.

Visitation with the Gowan family will be on Saturday, May 27th from 12:00 until funeral service time at 2:00 in the Chapel of the Cook-Webb Funeral Home in Guthrie, Kentucky.
