Obituary

The Cook-Webb Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mr. Dwight "D.L." Woosley.

Mr. D.L. Woosley, age 95 of Lake Placid, Florida and formerly of Guthrie, passed away on Wednesday, May 17th at his home in Florida.  

He was born February 10, 1928, in Louisville, Kentucky son of the late James Lyman and Mattie Buckler Woosley.

He was a Veteran of the United States Army and retired from Kopper's in Guthrie. He loved his family, golfing, fishing and hunting.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Geraldine McKay and Evelyn Owens. He is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Woosley of Brentwood, Tennessee and Diane Woosley Spires (Don) of Lake Placid, Florida and two grandchildren.  

A graveside service is scheduled to be conducted on Saturday, May 27th at 1:00 at the Highland Cemetery in Guthrie with Don Spires officiating.  

The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) those donations can be mailed to
