David Randal Benton II

The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mr. David Randal Benton II.

David Benton II, age 25 of Clarksville, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, September 21st at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

He was born June 6, 1998 in Springfield, Tennessee the son of David Randal Benton, Sr. and Angela Dee Thompson.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and fast cars. He was always a fun and funny person to be around and was very loved by many.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Effie Benton. He is survived by his parents, David Benton, Sr. (Stacy) of Guthrie and Angela Thompson of Clarksville, Tennessee; maternal grandparents, John and Nancy Thompson of Clarksville, Tennessee; three sisters, Miranda Benton, Jessica Friend and Amber Benton all of Clarksville, Tennessee; two stepbrothers, Calvin Coiner of Elkton and Luke Coiner of Guthrie; two stepsisters, Dolly Latham of Elkton and Heavenly Coiner of Guthrie and several aunts and uncles.

Visitation with the Benton family will be on Monday, September 25th from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 at the Stokes Chapel Church in Elkton with Rev. Gary Chapman officiating. Interment will follow at the Stokes Chapel Cemetery.
