Doris Lucille Hollingsworth

The Cook-Webb Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mrs. Doris Lucille Murray Hollingsworth.

Mrs. Doris Lucille Hollingsworth, age 94 of Guthrie, passed away on Friday, July 12th at Hearthstone Place in Elkton.

Doris was born January 24, 1930 in Dotsonville, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Oscar B. Murray, Sr. and Freddie Oliver Murray.

She was a member of the Guthrie Baptist Church. She loved her family and enjoyed traveling.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Hollingsworth; a daughter, Mary Ann Hollingsworth and a brother, Oscar B. Murray, Jr. She is survived by a son, Joe Hollingsworth of Guthrie; a daughter, Linda Hollingsworth Clark of Tennessee Ridge, Tennessee; four grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Visitation with the Hollingsworth family will be on Tuesday, July 16th from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 in the Chapel of the Cook-Webb Funeral Home with Rev. Dave Brown and Rev. Kimbrough Simmons officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery in Guthrie.
