The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mrs. Doris Manthey.
Mrs. Manthey, age 81 of Elkton, passed away on September 26th at Tennova Health Care in Clarksville, Tennessee.
She was born April 16, 1942, in Guthrie, Kentucky the daughter of the late Louis Edward Pulley and Altha Lee Stilts.
She was a member of the Tiny Town Baptist Church, was the former office manager of Manthey Medical Clinic and loved her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Frank Manthey and two sons, Randy Shackleford and Michael Manthey. She is survived by one son, Peter Manthey (Terri) of Anchorage, Alaska; three daughters, Susan Phillips of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Teresa Jean Williams (Steve) of Gallatin, Tennessee and Cheryl Denise Mullen (Scott) of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; one brother, Timothy Wayne Pulley of Guthrie; two sisters, Linda Fay Capotosti of Riverside, Alabama and Elva Jane Stokes of Guthrie; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visitation with the Manthey family will be held on Saturday, September 30th from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Reverend Randy Davenport officiating. Interment to follow at the Highland Cemetery in Guthrie.
