The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mrs. Doris Vance.

Mrs. Doris Vance, age 71 of Joelton, Tennessee passed away on Friday, July 21st at her home of natural causes.

She was born May 23, 1952 in Nashville, Tennessee the daughter of the late Marshall and Lucille Bodily Branch

She retired from the Nashville Board of Education. She loved her family and enjoyed traveling.

She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Bill Vance of Joelton, Tennessee; three sons, Billy Vance of Portland, Tennessee, Robert Vance of Whites Creek, Tennessee and John Vance of Pleasant View, Tennessee and six grandchildren.

The family chose cremation. There are no services scheduled at this time.
