Edd Wayne Borders

The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mr. Edd Wayne Borders. 

In memory of Mr. Edd Wayne Borders, husband and father, born April 19, 1935 and passing on to glory at his home in Elkton on Saturday morning March 25, 2023.  Mr. Borders was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Gill Borders and Edna Louise McGehee Borders, his sister, Nellie and his beloved brother, Cedric.  

Mr. Borders was a Free & Accepted Mason and a member in good standing for over 50 years at the Vesper Lodge #71 in Elkton.  He spent his working life in construction, building many homes in Todd County and neighboring counties in Kentucky and Tennessee.  He spent his leisure time pursuing hobbies including electronics, rebuilding his Ford pickup and being an armchair historian of America and Israel.  He was a firm believer and follower of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Willo Mae Borders; his three daughters, Naomi Mae Borders, Ruth Kay Borders Farwell, Esther Fay Borders Dickinson; his two sons-in-law, William Gregory Farwell and Warren James Dickinson and his two beloved grandsons, Jordan Lem Borders and Houston Borders Dickinson and his wife, Teri Lee Trumitch Dickinson.  

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 29 at the Todd County Funeral Home from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Joy Leaster officiating.  Interment to follow at the Elkton-Glenwood Cemetery.
