Edward Hollingsworth

The Cook-Webb Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mr. Edward Hollingsworth.

Mr. Edward Hollingsworth, age 88 of Clarksville, Tennessee and formerly of Todd County, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, February 7th at the Dogwood Bend Assisted Living in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Edward was born on February 3, 1938 in Todd County, Kentucky son of the late Jason Lewis Hollingsworth and Lottie Harper Hollingsworth.

He was a member of First Baptist Church in Clarksville and retired from Trane. He loved his family, friends and traveling.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, J.L. Hollingsworth, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Betty Hollingsworth of Clarksville; a son, Michael Hollingsworth of Big Rock, Tennessee; four daughters, Carolyn Aaron (Paul) of Brandenburg, Kentucky, Leah Gaither (Dwayne) of Clarksville, Susan Morrison (Danny) of Clarksville and Janet Hudson (Lee) of Clarksville; ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

There will be a private burial on a later date.
