The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Ms. Elizabeth Brooksher Sanders.
Ms. Elizabeth Brooksher Sanders, age 95 of Guthrie, passed away on Thursday, January 1st at the Christian Health Center in Hopkinsville, Kentucky
Elizabeth was born on December 29, 1930 in Adams, Tennessee daughter of the late Audie Lee Brooksher and Lela McNeil Brooksher.
She was a member of the Tiny Town Baptist Church and was retired from the Todd County Board of Education. She loved her family and enjoyed reading the Bible and cooking.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Brooksher; four sisters, Carlene Conquest, Margaret Neil Boyer, Nancy Woody and Betty Gayle Clinton and a granddaughter, Nicole Smithson. She is survived by three sons, Sammy Sanders (Leanne) of Adams, Tennessee, Hershel Sanders, Jr. (Mary) of Elkton and Scott Sanders (Norma) of Clarksville, Tennessee; a daughter, Rosemary Jenkins (E.J.) of Franklin, Tennessee; a sister, Mary Alice Callis of Adams, Tennessee; seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
There will be a private Celebration of Life Service.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the St. Jude Hospital.
