The Cook-Webb Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mrs. Floy Philbrick.
Mrs. Floy Philbrick, age 80 of Elkton, passed away on Wednesday, October 8th at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, Tennessee.
Floy was born May 3, 1945, in Guthrie, Kentucky, daughter of the late Ernest Lamar Warren and Martha Nickell Warren Kelsey.
She was a member of the Guthrie Methodist Church, and she loved her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, E.L. and Jon Warren and one sister, Elizabeth Wilson. She is survived by her husband, Alfred Philbrick of Elkton; five sons, Brent Young (Rosemary) of Allensville, Alan Young (Diana) of Cambridge, Ohio, Chris Young (Kathy) of Knoxville, Tennessee, David Young of Cadiz and Timothy Philbrick (Amber) of Westfield, Maine; a daughter, Dawn Philbrick of Presque Isle, Maine; three sisters, Mary Frances Matthews of Nashville, Tennessee, Wilma Payne and Susan Joseph both of Clarksville, Tennessee; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation with the Philbrick family will be on Monday, October 13th from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 in the Chapel of the Cook-Webb Funeral Home in Guthrie with Pastor Mark Carrigan officiating. Interment will follow at the Charles Nickell Memorial Park Cemetery in Centerville, Tennessee.
