The Todd County Funeral Home & Cremation Service is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mr. Fredrick Maurice Barker.
Our beloved son, father, brother, and friend Fredrick Maurice Barker was born to the late Joe C. Gilliam and Mary F. Kilgore on November 23, 1970 and passed away on February 27, 2026 surrounded by his loved ones.
Fredrick was a shining light to those who came across his path. His journey on earth was one marked by love, laughter, hard-work, compassion and unwavering faith in God. His passing has left a void in many hearts.
He became a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist church at an early age. After high school he joined the United States Army where he served two deployments and eight years total in the service. Fredrick loved to work, spend time with family, fish during his spare time and was a master on the grill.
Fredrick is survived by his wife, Latrell Williams; two daughters, Kenyatta Moody and Rhianna Warren; six grandchildren, Jimmy Brown, Raziel Brown, Mariana Moody, Jae’el Moody, Saniyah Moody, and Neko Anderson; his mother, Mary Francis Kilgore; one brother, Ricky Broadie; two sisters, Paula Barker and Erika Ford and one aunt, Rosa Pendleton. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends who all love and will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 7th from 10:00 until funeral service time at 12:00 at the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Guthrie with Rev. G.C. Morrow officiating. Interment will be on Monday, March 9th at 1:00 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, Kentucky with military honors.
