Gayle Martin

Gayle Martin, age 73 of Elkton, passed away on Sunday, April 25^th at Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville of natural causes.

She was born July 15, 1947 in Christian County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Poley and Estelle Powell Calvin.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was retired from Flynn Enterprises. She loved her family, gardening, cooking, canning and sewing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Howard Calvin, Elvin Calvin, Alton Calvin and Terry Hays as well as six sisters, Cheryl Lankford, Kay Lankford, Faye Maiel, Beverly Berry, Eurie Alexander and Imorene Euton. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Martin of Elkton; one son, Anthony W. Martin (Sandra) of Elkton; two daughters, Tina Martin Lee (Terry) of Lewisburg and Rita Martin Owen of Elkton; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be on Friday from 11:00 until funeral service time at 12:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Shane Hessey officiating. Interment will follow at the Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton.

Mask will be required as well as social distancing and no hugging or shaking hands.
