Gilbert Wayne Crick, age 72 of Guthrie, passed away on Friday, August 6th at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.
He was born April 8, 1949 in Greenville, Kentucky the son of the late William Junior and Wilodean Ebling Crick.
He loved his family, working, fishing, hunting and training horses.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by five brothers, Jerry, Ronnie, Terry, Ricky and Kenny Crick. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Crick of Guthrie; two sons, Gary Crick (Amanda) and Kevin Crick (Kelly) both of Hopkinsville; three daughters, Christina Lanier (Dwayne) of Seymour, Tennessee, Jenny Holt (Steve) and Cathy Ferrell (Steve) both of Hopkinsville; two brothers, Jeffrey Crick of Big Sandy, Tennessee and Billy Crick of La Grange, Kentucky; one sister, Janice Turns of Hopkinsville; sixteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation with the Crick family will be on Monday from 5:00 until 7:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Tuesday morning at 11:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Seel and Rev. Bill Oliver officiating. Interment will follow at the Green Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Hopkinsville.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Petrie Memorial United Methodist Church, Kentucky Children’s Home and the American Cancer Society.
