The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mr. Howard Lee McCarter.
Mr. Howard McCarter, age 95 of Allensville, passed away on Thursday, May 16th at his home.
Howard was born December 14, 1928 in Todd County, Kentucky, the son of the late Jim and Annie Jenkins McCarter.
He attended Forest Grove Baptist Church and was a retired farmer. He loved his family, gardening and being outdoors.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce McCarter (2015); a son, John David McCarter; a daughter, Connie McCarter, a brother, James McCarter and son in law, Darrell Scott. He is survived by two sons, Ricky McCarter (Karen) of Lewisburg and Howard Wendall McCarter (Dorothy) of Allensville; two daughters, Kathy Stalnaker (Ed) of Allensville and Carolyn Scott of Adairville; a brother, Robert McCarter of Louisville; eleven grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
Visitation with the McCarter family will be on Saturday, May 18th from 12:00 until funeral service time at 2:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Allen Woodard officiating. Interment will follow at the Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton.
