Imogene Johnson, age 84 of Elkton, passed away on Thursday, June 16th at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee of natural causes.
She was born July 22, 1937 in Todd County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Gobel and Cora Frederick Oliver.
She retired from Hearthstone Place Nursing Home after 33 years. She loved her family especially her grandchildren and gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul, W.G. and William Oliver and a sister, Bessie Woods. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Johnson of Elkton; a son, David Johnson (Allison) of Clarksville, Tennessee; a brother, Earl Oliver of Guthrie; four sisters, Joyce Gamble, Nancy Walker both of Hopkinsville, Sue Butler of Clarksville, Tennessee and Peggy Gibson of Elkton and two grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday from 5:00 until 7:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Thursday at 11:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. Nick Stamps officiating. Interment will follow at the Todd County Meadow Haven in Elkton.
