Cook-Webb Funeral Home of Guthrie, Kentucky is honored to have been called to serve the family of Jacquenette Renee Shinkle.
Jacquenette Renee Shinkle, age 66 of Guthrie, passed away on Tuesday, August 30th at her home of natural causes.
She was born February 14, 1956 in Long Beach, California the daughter of the late Jack Vincent Thompson and Helen Payton Thompson.
She loved her family, gardening and played guitar in a band.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Thompson and one sister, Donna Gilboy. She is survived by her husband, Leo Shinkle of Guthrie; four sons, William Thompson of Clarksville, Tennessee, Leo Shinkle III of Arizona, Marshall and Jesse Shinkle both of Guthrie; four daughters, Andrea Perez of Clarksville, Tennessee, Sarah Barr of Washington, Indiana, Helen Corn of Nashville, Tennessee and Whitney Shinkle of California; one brother, James Thompson of Winslow, Indiana; one sister, Teresa Shewmaker of Adams, Tennessee and thirteen grandchildren.
Visitation with the Shinkle family will be held on Friday, September 2nd from 5:00 until funeral service time at 7:00 at the Cook-Webb Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Hughes officiating. A graveside service and interment is scheduled to be held on Saturday, September 3rd at 1:00 central time at the Oakhill Cemetery in Winslow, Indiana.
