Mr. James Draper, age 74 of Hopkinsville and formerly of Kirkmansville, passed away on Tuesday evening October 6, 2020 at his home of natural causes.
Mr. Draper was born November 27, 1945 in Todd County, Kentucky the son of the late Hugh and Kathleen Sigers Draper.
Mr. Draper was a member of the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, a retired logger, loved his family, fishing and lawn mower repair.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his wife Wanda Draper; three brothers Junior Draper, Lynn Draper and Clayton Draper. He is survived by a son James “Jimmy” Draper and a daughter Roxanne Daugherty (Scott) both of Hopkinsville; three sisters Darlene Ramirez of Hopkinsville, Dorothy Meacham of Kirkmansville and Elaine Brooks of Indiana. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation with the Draper family will be held on Friday morning from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Friday afternoon at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Reverend Larry Phaup officiating, interment to follow at the Francies Cemetery in Allegre.
