The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mr. Jimmy Crowder.
Mr. Jimmy Crowder, age 78 of Sharon Grove, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, December 6th at his home.
Mr. Crowder was born August 15, 1945, in Todd County, son of the late Coleman and Gertha Maxwell Crowder.
He was the former owner of the Crowder Grocery Store in Sharon Grove. He loved his family, gardening, fishing and UK Basketball.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Crowder (2006); one brother, Bobby Crowder and a great grandson, Layden Michael Paul. He is survived by his wife, Terri Crowder of Sharon Grove; four sons, Lee Crowder (Amanda) of Paris, Tennessee, Joe Crowder (Marilyn) of Sharon Grove, Ross Crowder of Russellville and Robbie Crowder of Sharon Grove; two stepsons, Rick Staples (Annette) of Hodgenville, Kentucky and Joseph Smith (Elizabeth) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; three stepdaughters, Darlene Staples of Russellville, Debbie Morgan of Hopkinsville and Riley Riley of Middleton, Wisconsin; twenty-one grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 13th from 1:00 until 3:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home.
