John David Phillips

John David Phillips, age 64 of Elkton, passed away on Thursday, January 2^nd at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.

He was born June 18, 1955 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky the son of John T. and Nona M. Groves Phillips.

He was a member of Pleasant Hill UMC.  He loved his family, farming and retired from Trane after 42 years.

He was preceded in death by his father as well as his wife Rene’e Phillips.  He is survived by two sons Michael Phillips of Hopkinsville and Daniel Phillips of Elkton; two stepdaughters Maria Sheppard of Clarksville and Melissa Chambers of Camber, Kentucky; his mother Nona Phillips of Elkton; a brother Mark Phillips of Elkton; three sisters Cheryl Christmas of Elkton, Kathy Laster of Clarksville and Teri Jo Power of Elkton and four step grandchildren.

There will be a visitation on Sunday from 1:00 until Memorial Service time at 2:00 at Pleasant Hill UMC with Phil Templeman officiating.
