John Wilson, Jr.

The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mr. John William Wilson, Jr.

John Wilson, Jr., age 78 of Clifty, passed away on Tuesday, October 17th at his home.

He was born July 1, 1945, in Logan County, Kentucky son of the late John Wilson, Sr. and Nora McKinney Wilson.

Mr. Wilson was a Veteran of the United States Army and served in Vietnam, he loved his family, friends, gardening and UK Basketball.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Eric Wilson; three brothers, Chester, Richard and Raymond Wilson and a sister, Louisa Farmer. He is survived by his wife, Ann Wilson of Clifty; a brother, Tommy Wilson of Florida; two sisters, Kay Webster of Springfield, Tennessee and Betty Hinton of Quality, Kentucky; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Visitation with the Wilson family will be on Friday, October 20th from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Jackie Webster officiating. Interment will follow at the Blake Cemetery on Blake Road in Clifty.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Blake Cemetery, those donations can be made at United Southern Bank in Elkton, care of Ann Wilson or Lisa Moore.
