Joyce Faye McGhee

The Todd County Funeral Home & Cremation Service is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mrs. Joyce Faye McGhee.

Mrs. Joyce Faye McGhee, age 83 of Claymour, passed away on Friday, January 2nd at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, Kentucky.

Joyce was born April 21, 1942 in Todd County, Kentucky daughter of the late Woodford and Irene Shemwell Lacy.

She was a member of the Shepherds House of Praise and Deliverance. She loved her family, reading the Bible, babysitting, crocheting, cooking and flowers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Lacy and a sister, Glenda Phillips. She is survived by her husband, Roy McGhee of Claymour; a son, Lester McGhee of Elkton; two sisters, Kay Dunn and Sheila Hampton both of Elkton; a grandson, John McGhee (Katie) and a great grandson, John Woodford McGhee.

Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, January 6th from 5:00 until 7:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Wednesday, January 7th at 11:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Lester McGhee and Lana Shoulders officiating. Interment will follow at the New Cedar Grove Cemetery.
