Judy Allen

The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mrs. Judy Allen.

Mrs. Judy Allen, age 76 of Pembroke, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, July 23rd at her home.

Judy was born June 4, 1949 in Christian County, Kentucky daughter of the late Johnie Luther Brown and Ora Burke Brown.

She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Fairview and former owner of Allen’s Upholstery in Hopkinsville. She loved her family and enjoyed reading, gardening, dancing and sewing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny and Gene Brown and a sister, Marilyn Arnett. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, David L. Allen of Pembroke; one son, Matthew Allen (Jennifer) of Summerville, South Carolina; one daughter, Amy Flynn (Michael) of Pembroke; two brothers, Floyd Brown of Hopkinsville and Larry Brown of Herndon; five sisters, Pam Hensley of Kansas City, Kansas, Rose George of Independence, Missouri, Kay Smithson of Herndon, Paulette Brown of Hopkinsville and Terri Wells of Hopkinsville; five grandchildren, David Allen (Ariel), Tyler Owens (Kate), Ainsley Allen, Brent Allen and Brandon Owens and two great grandchildren.

Visitation with the Allen family will be on Saturday, July 26th from 11:00 until memorial service time at 12:00 at the Bethel Baptist Church in Fairview, Kentucky with Pastor Terry Joiner officiating.
