Keith "Gator" Darnell Johnson

The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mr. Keith Darnell Johnson.

Keith Johnson, age 62 of Guthrie, passed away on Sunday, October 8th at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, Tennessee.

He was born July 23, 1961 son of the late Charlie and Lucy Drake Johnson.

Keith was a 1980 graduate of Todd County Central High School. He was employed at Frigidaire and was a former employee of A.O. Smith known as State Industries. Keith was baptized on April 13, 1997 at the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church and later became a member of Macedonia Baptist Church where he served as usher and was very active in the Macedonia Brotherhood. He loved his family and enjoyed fishing, playing cards and games.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Sam and James Drake. He is survived by his fiancé, Angela Hurts of Guthrie; a brother, Elbert Harris (Anita) of Indianapolis, Indiana; two sisters, Martha Durant and Mary Lisenbee both of Indianapolis, Indiana and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and hometown friends.

Visitation with the Johnson family will be on Saturday, October 14th from 9:00 until funeral service time at 11:00 at the Macedonia Baptist Church in Guthrie with Rev. Frank Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at the Lesters Chapel Cemetery.
