Larry Joseph Smith

Lawrence “Larry” Joseph Smith, age 81 of Guthrie, passed away on Monday, May 10^th at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky of natural causes.

He was born September 9, 1939 in Bronx, New York the son of the late Lawrence and Mary Lazarus Smith.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as a son, Steven Smith; a daughter, Susan Alice Smith; a brother, Roy Smith and a sister, Kay Smith. He is survived by his wife, Helen Smith of Kissimmee, Florida; three sons, Steven, LJ and Mark Smith all of Chicago, Illinois; a brother, Michael Arms of San Diego, California; four sisters, Sheila Harnish of Yarmouth, Maine, Pat Naylor of Guthrie, Theresa Kaugman of Buffalo, New York and Tina Rizkallah of Carmel, California. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

It was his wishes to be cremated and have no services. He always wanted people to remember him as they knew him, always with a smile and willing to spend time talking with them.
